“No unbelief made him waver concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong in his faith as he gave glory to God, fully convinced that God was able to do what he had promised.”
It’s so fascinating to me that this is what was said of Abraham’s faith regarding God giving him and Sarah a child – Abraham who slept with Hagar because he and Sarah thought maybe the promise of God had to be this other route.
But God, through Paul, notes that Abraham didn’t have unbelief and that his faith GREW STRONG fully convinced that God was able to do what He had promised.
God sees our faith – small as a mustard seed and growing. How beautiful is that?
May you and I be people who really believe that God will do what He promises.
