There are two things that really stuck out to me in this portion.
The first is that Boaz was an honorable person who pursued and completed his responsibility. He steps up to the plate.
The second is how beautiful the blessing given in verses 11 and 12 is. “May the Lord make the woman, who is coming into your house, like Rachel and Leah, who together built up the house of Israel. May you act worthily in Ephrathah and be renowned in Bethlehem, and may your house be like the house of Perez, whom Tamar bore to Judah, because of the offspring that the Lordwill give you by this young woman.””
Let’s take note of it, because tomorrow, we’ll see how God does exactly this.
