Good morning, friend!
Here’s a little something I got from today’s part of our Bible Reading Plan.
I thought this short passage was so interesting. So often we can wonder what steps to take, if this idea or that idea I have is God’s plan for me, but here we see God work in the honest decisions of Naomi and the honorable obedience of Ruth.
We see Naomi wanting life to be well for them and knowing, as we’ll see soon, that Boaz is someone who can do that for them legally.
She takes action. And God…
- Really set the stage for this to be possible with Ruth’s “happened to” choice to work in his field not knowing who he was
- As we’ll see soon, works in this choice to great lengths.
