Here’s a little something I got from today’s part of our Bible Reading Plan.
This was such a cool passage to read because we see that even though Naomi left God’s people and His land when things got bad, and then was struck by deep tragedy, she steps back into God’s people in her sorrow, bitterness.
Sometimes in our sorrow or bitterness towards God or even shame, we can feel like we can’t go back. But Naomi does. And God wants her to come back. She goes back to God’s people and the land even though, we see in verse 13, she feels like God’s hand is against her.
And that feeling of God being against her can be a very naturally feeling with what she’s gone through, but really, He’s about to bring very real beauty from very real ashes.
