be free of your burdens

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.”   1 Peter 1:3   His death takes the penalty for our sin and His resurrection raises us up with Him.   Jesus died to take the punishment for all the things we’ve done and will do that hurt God (sin). He took the wrath of God on Himself FOR US, so that when we accept Jesus, God the Father sees our debt of wrongs against Him as PAID.    Friends, the Bible says that those who confess Jesus as Lord and believe in their hearts God raised Him from the dead are SAVED.     And His resurrection – the very thing we celebrate on Easter – causes you to be born again into a living hope.     You have a hope that is ALIVE. Your hope is unconquerable.    

   Rest & rejoice in that today.   No matter your circumstance, no matter any fear, no matter the amount of despair around you, you have a living hope that conquers ALL.   You are made NEW and will be raised UP through and into that very hope – life beyond the grave, cleansed from sin, free from chains and JESUS Himself. All because JESUS died and rose again.    Rest & rejoice.    XO   Meg
