you’re important. They’re important.
why we need gal pals
Girlfriend, you’re important.
I’ll say it again for the ladies in the back,
“GIRLFRIEND, YOU ARE IMPORTANT.”
Personally, I love Galentine’s day because it really makes me think of the importance of community and friendships that God has given me and woven into my life.
Even as I sit here writing this, I’m literally just going through, in my mind, all the people in my life that have impacted me and the importance they hold in my life.
I am just overwhelmed for all my gal pals out there.
What a difference they make in our lives.
Those girls that are blowing up your group chat during the work day.
The ladies that never miss a beat and are always sending you scripture and encouragement, like exactly the ones you NEED to hear.
The girlfriends that will literally drop everything late at night to come be with you and pray hard prayers.
These are the people we need and I fervently pray that you have them in your inner circle.
I think of Jesus who had the 12 disciples, yet when it came time for Him to pray in the Garden after the Last Super, He took three with Him.
His inner circle.
What does your inner circle look like??
Is it a few number of girls that you know love you with such a love defined by Christ?
Who are willing to spill some hard truth when the time comes?
Who will willingly rejoice when you are rejoicing and weep when you are weeping?
How often do we tell them how important they are?
Community and the body of Christ are essential, and (MAJOR TRUTH BOMB) if we aren’t being active members in encouraging and supporting the women in our life then I really think we need to press the brakes for a second.
Our closest gals, our community girls, and, quite honestly, girls that we see once or twice a month at church events need to be reminded how important and loved they are!
Don’t you need it?! How much more essential, knowing that, is it to give that encouragement then!
This day reminds me that we need to support one another and have each others backs.
No matter what this world tries to tell us.
We are not defined by the way we look, a relationship status, a job, our financial income, or by people’s expectations.
We are defined by Christ, and a community of women who grab ahold of this truth and believe it will be such a POWERFUL community.
Let’s be that community!!
Let’s empower one another into the purposes God has for us.
Let’s empower one another to believe truths.
That we are loved.
That we are important.
That we have purpose.
Not just on February 13, 2020 where we celebrate the importance of friendships and women.
Everyday!
Let that really sink in and believe it.
You are loved.
You are important.
You have purpose.
We are so thankful for all our gal pals, more than you could ever know. We are so thankful for YOU.
Let’s take a moment & reach out to our gals today and reassure them they they are important & they are loved!!
